And effectively Civitavecchia , being located at 70 km from Rome, less than 50 km from Fiumicino Airport and also very close to centres of extraordinary archeological interest like Tarquinia and Cerveteri, represent a "must" port of call for the Cruise Traffic.
Particularly for this reason the Governament itself invested on the future of the maritime port of Civitavecchia, specially as far as the cruise sector development is concerned.
